In short
The e-invoicing reform is coming — Synaptiik is already ready.
France is making e-invoicing mandatory for every VAT-registered business: receiving from September 1, 2026, issuing from September 1, 2027. Synaptiik generates your invoices in Factur-X format, ready to route through an approved platform.
Starting September 1, 2026, every French business registered for VAT — regardless of size — will need to be able to receive supplier invoices in structured electronic form. The obligation to issue follows on September 1, 2027. A photo studio, an agency or an independent photographer under the VAT exemption threshold is not exempt once they invoice VAT-registered professionals. Synaptiik built this module ahead of time, not under pressure.
Every Synaptiik invoice can be produced in Factur-X format: a PDF/A-3 readable by your clients, with structured data (CII format) embedded in the file for the machine-readable requirement expected by the reform. Mandatory legal mentions — company registration number, business ID, trade register number, intra-EU VAT number — are generated automatically from your business identity, with no re-entry and no risk of a missing mention.
Synaptiik's e-invoicing flow is built around a connector to a partner dematerialization platform (PDP), covering the full invoice lifecycle — issuing, credit notes, receiving incoming supplier invoices. You keep invoicing from Synaptiik just as you do today; compliance with the new format happens in the background.
